Have we learned the lessons of victory?
We are going to talk about the history of wars and aggressions to take over other countries or impose control on them. Kevin will lead the talk which will be multi-faceted:
- The clash of great powers
- Hegemony
- The Monroe doctrine
- A repeat of the Versailles treaty and its consequences
People in most countries of the world want to live in peace, so why have there been and why are there still so many local and regional wars? Why is the threat of World War III still on the agenda?
