At the last Travellers Tales meeting group leader, Angela Chantry, gave a detailed account of her recent tour to Brazil, and showed many of the amazing photos of wildlife which she had been able to capture, especially the jaguars and birds.
A big thank you to Ally & Chloe who helped to set out the chairs, and to Wendy who manned the door and took the photograph.
The next Travellers Tales meeting will take place on Tuesday 1st December, when I will be very pleased to welcome a new speaker for TT – Detlef Glogowski. Detlef will give an account of his recent travels with Elena to China: Touring China – The giant pandas of Chengdu and ethnic minority groups of Yunnan province.
As this is the last meeting of the year, there will be complimentary sherry and mince pies for everyone attending!
Venue: the Javea Players Studio; parking available at Mercadona in the old town, from where it is just a few minutes walk to the studio.
Doors open at 10.15 hrs, with the presentation commencing at 11.00 hrs and lasting for approximately 1 hour. There will be a collection of 2 euros per person on entry which goes towards the cost of room hire.
