Over 80 members enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the outdoor terrace of the Club de Tenis Jávea – the general consensus being that the tapas to start were excellent, followed by a generous main course, and apple pudding with vanilla ice cream – and throughout the meal there were plenty of drinks served by very friendly and efficient waiters. James Hurst was on good form, as usual, providing his usual lively performance and a great choice of music for everyone to dance to – with plenty of space for everyone! It was a perfect summer’s evening, with good friends enjoying themselves in a very convivial atmosphere.
