The advertised talk “Football against the Nazis: The Death Match of Kyiv 1942” has been moved to Tuesday 29th September, Casa Cultura at 11am. This is because on the original date Casa Cultura will be closed as it is a fiesta day.
So all U3A members are welcome on 29th September for what promises to be an engaging talk. And don’t worry if you don’t like football. It is more about war and how regimes use sport as propaganda both in times of war and long after the conflict has ended.
