April’s meeting of the Thursday WAG started with a fantastic turnout of 46 members all eager to get involved in tasting a great selection of wines chosen by our presenter for the day, Jane Klassen.
All wines were from the Bodega Casa Sicilia in Alicante.
Food produced by the chef at L’Escut complimented the wines and no one left feeling hungry 😋. The afternoon drew to a close with the usual Raffle which resulted in 5 happy winners. The twist of the day was that three of the wines were lucky dips !!!!
Our thanks go out to Jane on an excellent presentation, delivered in a professional manner and also to Steve Young for the taking of various happy snaps of the afternoons presentation.
The next meeting will be on Thursday 14th May, a week earlier than originally advertised. We have a treat in store as Steve Young will be presenting wines from Italy.
Karen and I look forward to seeing you next month and until then enjoy what is now lovely Spring weather.
