Steve Young was born in Derby in 1960. His entire career was spent in banking and financial services where he learned a little bit about marketing, communications and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve manages the U3A J\u00e1vea website and writes most of the stories that you see there. He\u2019s also our unofficial photographer and is 100% to blame if you don\u2019t like a picture on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve moved to J\u00e1vea in 2019 and lives at the Montg\u00f3 with his wife and 2 German Shepherd dogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has two children both of whom now live in Australia. Apart from travelling, Steve is a keen bird watcher, photographer and an avid fan of Derby County Football Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
