We are delighted to announce the launch of U3A J\u00e1vea\u2019s 45th Activity Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim Aronson is the Group Leader and moved to Spain in November 2023 from America via Sweden and lives here year-round with her husband, Toni.\u00a0 She has been designing and selling jewellery for many years, and owned her own gallery, Cleavage Candy, in Colorado.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group will meet monthly at Kim\u2019s house in Balcon al Mar and be limited to 6 people each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first meeting will be in May or June. If you want to be one of the first six attendees, please send an email to Kim on jewelry.making@u3ajavea.com<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Group will, under instruction from Kim, make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, or rings exploring various methods – beading, leatherwork, bead weaving, wire wrapping, etc.  (There will not be any traditional metalsmithing.)  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim will provide the materials, tools and instruction and there will be a cost for each class depending on the project.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim is looking forward to meeting like-minded creatives who would like to learn a new skill.  All members are welcome to sign up for this Group but as numbers are limited and a cost is involved, Kim is keen to meet those people who are serious about producing quality jewellery pieces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
