Many members will remember Betty Guinness who is one of our Honorary Members. Betty lived here in J\u00e1vea until the age of 102 until she went back to England to live with her daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now in Rivendell View Care Home in Nottingham, Betty celebrates her 105th birthday on 20th April. Here are some recent pictures of Betty with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U3A J\u00e1vea President Claude Grealy was delighted to send Betty some beautiful flowers to mark her birthday and to remind her of her many friends here in J\u00e1vea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Betty\u2019s son Mark is organising a Zoom call for Tuesday 23rd April at about 4pm (3pm BST) to give anyone who knows Betty the opportunity to say hello and to congratulate her on her birthday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
