Back in Javea approximately 17:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots to see and do in Alicante: museum&#8217;s, marinas, castles, churches as well as the food markets and lovely shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gravina Museum of Fine Arts<\/strong> (MUBAG) has an exhibition devoted to Salvadore Dali (free)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contemporary Arts Museum of Alicante<\/strong> (MACA) is full of modern day art and sculpture (free).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Basilica de Santa Maria de Alicante <\/strong>is a 14C church famed for its rococo main alter built on the site of an Arab mosque. 5\u20ac entrance charge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Calle de Setas <\/strong>is a fantasy wonderland of mushroom and toadstool sculptures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Central Indoor Market <\/strong>is famous for its fabulous food stalls but also a poignant memorial to the 300 people killed in an air attack during the Spanish Civil War. The tragic event is commemorated in a mural inside the building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All located within easy walking distance of each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who prefer more general exploring there are narrow streets and plazas with local shops, bars and restaurants.
