When we arrive in Valencia we will enjoy a coffee break before embarking on a really interesting walking tour. This is an ideal trip for those new members who may not have explored the delights of Valencia. However we always find new things to discover about our favourite local city whenever we visit, so please do join us.
Here´s a sample of some of the places we may decide to visit – the exact itinerary will be decided nearer the time. Our guide is a resident of Valencia and speaks fluent English.
Mercado de Colon, Plaza Ayuntamiento, Mercado Central, The Commodity Exchange Building (Lonja de la Seda), San Nicolas (this church has been refurbished recently and it is known as the Sixtine Chapel), Cathedral and Basilica, Almoina (roman remains- this is the origin of Valencia, and is very very interesting museum)…
We had a fabulous lunch at this restaurant last December, so what better than a repeat this year!

Currently we have been informed that masks must be worn on the coach at all times – if you are not able to comply with this requirement, please do not book a place.
We may need to arrange alternative cash payments (a suitable location in Javea) as there might not be a meeting for the months before the trip. When we do arrange this cash payment location we would ask you to ensure you have the correct money available to reduce contact as much as possible.
Obviously you will be able to pay by bank transfer – details available by clicking here this is still definitely our preferred method of payment. Just quote Valencia Xmas on your transfer.
We know a number of you join us in small groups, so if one of you would be able to pay by bank transfer for you and your friends it would make payments far easier for all. If you do please do inform the Trip Leader by email beforehand, so we can ensure everyone is added to the trip list.
If you need to sit in a specific area of the bus, for mobility or other reasons please do confirm this with the trip leader in advance, and we will help if we can. It may not be possible to do this at the last minute on the day of travel.
