Spanish Culture & Cuisine Day trip “The Visigoth Experience” Friday 14th April

This trip is now full but we will be happy to take names for the reserve list.

In the morning we will travel to Valencia for a short guided tour of the Visigothic site “La Vella” and then proceed to the “Visigothic villa Pla de Nadal”.Our last visit will be to the nearby Visigothic Museum in the Castell de Riba-roja de Túria. From there we will walk to the Restaurante La Muralleta for a special “Visigothic Menu”. After lunch, for those who are interested, there will be the opportunity to see the Old Bridge or Puente del Conde which is just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurant, before we return to Jávea.

Mulsum was the ancient beverage used by Romans, with the two main ingredients being wine and honey; usually served before the main meal and is therefore an aperitif.

COST: €48 per person. Full details and menu may be found on the Spanish Culture and Cuisine page on the website.
