Sign language appeal

I have received an enquiry from a Javea U3A member, who would like to know if there is anyone within our association who can do sign language and who would be prepared to start a new group.

Karrie Lott explains: “I just thought a new group running a sign language course would be so interesting and so very useful both to people who are hard of hearing, but also regular people who may struggle when they are in very noisy environments.

“My husband Trevor and myself were at a function this evening and we could not converse with people at the opposite end of our table as it was so very noisy. Sign language could solve this problem.”

If there is any member who could help, please contact our Groups Co-ordinator David Whybrow by emailing groups.coordinator@u3ajavea.com
