History – create Event

Locate the + sign at the top of your toolbar, select Event to create new event

Enter Title, Date, Start and End Time

Provide Event Location: Casa de la Cultura, Jávea

Enter the lecturer’s name (in bold), paste the synopsis below

Click on Media (above the text box), then select Create Gallery and upload pictures for the lecture. Select Create a new gallery at the bottom right of the tab to insert the pictures into your event

Select the Featured Image in the Media catalog or upload a new one

Assign the Category – in this case History

Past lectures are listed on the website. In order to include elapsed events in the list, you must use Post Expirator

Set a date/time soon after the day/time scheduled for the event (usually in the evening or the next day.) Select Replace category and click on History Archive

Example:

Title: The History of the Web

Date: Day/Months/Year

Time: 10:30-12:30

Location: Casa de la Cultura, Jávea

Lecturer: Joe Bloggs

Synopsis

Include pictures (file type: .jpg or .png, maximum size 2MB, minimum size 100 KB) provided as separate files, NOT embedded in a Word document or a presentation.

You can use one of the pictures uploaded for the gallery to set the Featured Image

Technical notes

Use a media gallery if there is more than one picture
