WAGs (Wine Appreciation Group) members tasted five wines – one white, one rose and three red – all rated ‘good’ in the wine tasters’ bible, the Guapenin Guide, at their latest Wednesday lunch at La Cocina Restaurant in Javea port. At the end of the session, fellow member Gaby Ferenczy, who presented the wines, revealed that they were all bought at Lidl – proof, he said, that it is possible to buy good quality wines at a good price! They ranged in cost from €1.79 to €4.29. Well done to group leaders Trevor and Sally Rush, for organising yet another successful get-together.
