DESCRIPTION:\nLast Friday of the month, 29th of May, we will discuss and learn about the politics of energy that affect our lives and all areas of modern societies, focusing on Spain, the EU and the UK.\n\n\n\nWe will explore the following energy distribution and the impact of geopolitical turmoil on energy distribution, looking at Hormuz, Suez, Bab al Mandab (Red Sea), and grid instability.\n\n\n\nAnother important part will be energy generation and the transition from fossil fuels. We will take a look at Spain’s investments in renewables.\n\n\n\n“In the third part of the discussion, we will elaborate on energy consumption and emerging technologies, such as LEDs, electric vehicles, and data centres.”\n\n\n\nIn general, the topic is very wide and very important to touch on all the challenges and problems in a couple of hours, but it will help  better understand the courses and effects from a geopolitical to energy-specific point of view\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
