DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll sole occupancy rooms are now booked but we are trying to reserve more.\n\n\n\nFollow that camel to Morocco!\n\n\n\nJoin us on our trip to Morocco, 19th to 24th September. This will be a small group max 34 members but good availability for single travellers.\n\n\n\nOur adventure will start:-\n\n\n\nDAY 1 – RABATBus Javea- ValenciaFlight: Valencia 9.45 – Rabat 10.15Arrival at Rabat airport, capital of Morocco. Meeting with the guide and assistance.\n\n\n\nWe begin with a guided tour of the city known as Royal City, the Royal Palace Complex, the Hassan II Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and end in the Medina (old city). After lunch (not included), transfer to the hotel and room allocation. Rest of the afternoon free. \n\n\n\nRabat\n\n\n\nAccommodation in Rabat.\n\n\n\nDAY 2 – RABAT – BREAKFAST AND DINNERBreakfast at the hotel. Free day for the group to go shopping and, optionally, visit the archaeological site of Chellah, a small  settlement founded by the Carthaginians on a hill next to the Bou Regreg River, which was later conquered by the Romans in the 1st century AD. The Romans called it Sala Colonia, from which the name of the neighbouring town of Salé derives.\n\n\n\nIn the evening, meet our guide and transfer to a local restaurant to enjoy dinner accompanied by folk music. \n\n\n\nAccommodation at the hotel.\n\n\n\nDAY 3 – CASABLANCA EXCURSION – BREAKFASTBreakfast at the hotel. Departure by coach with our guide to Casablanca, the cosmopolitan, industrial and economic heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, panoramic tour of Morocco’s largest city, visiting the most interesting places such as the exterior of the Hassan II Grand Mosque, Boulevard de la Corniche, United Nations Square, the Habbous district and the Anfa residentialdistrict. \n\n\n\nCasablanca\n\n\n\nReturn to Rabat in the afternoon. Accommodation.\n\n\n\nRespectful Cover-up: If visiting a mosque (like the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the only one open to non-Muslims), it is respectful to cover your hair, though not always mandatory for tourists.\n\n\n\nDAY 4 – RABAT / VOLUBILIS & MEKNES / FES – BREAKFASTBreakfast at the hotel. Departure for Fes. \n\n\n\nFirst, stop to visit Volubilis, ancient Roman ruins declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Continue via Meknes, another of the Imperial Cities, where we will take a panoramic tour to visit this imperial capital from the Bab Mansour Gate, the most famous entrance to the city, continuing on to El-Hedin Square and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque in the country that allows access to non-Muslims. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFinally, arrival in Fes and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.\n\n\n\nDAY 5 – FES – BREAKFAST AND DINNERBreakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure for a guided tour of this Imperial City. \n\n\n\nWe will begin our journey to the most incredible places in Fes. On the way to the medina of Fes El Bali, the oldest and largest in Morocco and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, we will see the exterior of the Royal Palace and its seven gates, or Dar Al-Makhzen. \n\n\n\nFes\n\n\n\nFrom Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine Square, we will take a walk to explore these narrow streets, the different buildings that make up the walls of the medina, as well as its craft guilds and neighbourhoods such as the tanners’ and seamstresses’ quarters to see their ancient ways of working. \n\n\n\nWe will visit a madrasa and finish by watching the potters working with copper. We will tour the medina and stop at some craft shops, such as bronze, ceramics, leather and carpets, for customers who wish to make purchases. After visiting the medina, we will end up in the Ville Nouvelle. \n\n\n\nTransfer to the hotel and rest of the afternoon free. In the evening, we will go out to enjoy a dinner accompanied by folk music. Accommodation in Fes.\n\n\n\nDAY 6 – FES AIRPORT – BREAKFASTBreakfast at the hotel.
